Hello, and welcome!
In Quercy - one of the last remaining truly authentic
areas of France - I have realised my dream and created a guest house.
|
The house "The Rose of Quercy" is situated on the "causse" of Limogne. Close by, the river Lot and
the river Célé cut through limestone cliffs, creating valleys with a romantic atmosphere. In the clear
light of the Quercy, the Lot retains its Southern character and its motto is: "We are under a spell.
Each step brings with it a surprise."

Cultural heritage is very important in this region: the Lot department holds many centuries of
historical monuments, caves, castles, Roman churches, and monasteries. In addition, it
encompasses a section of the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella.
The immediate neighbour of Perigord, Quercy is ideal for lovers of regional produce: all things
to do with duck, including of course "fois gras" (duck liver pate), lamb, wines of Quercy
(Cahors), walnuts, truffles, and delicious melons…
