Hello, and welcome!

In Quercy - one of the last remaining truly authentic areas of France - I have realised my dream and created a guest house.

The house "The Rose of Quercy" is situated on the "causse" of Limogne. Close by, the river Lot and the river Célé cut through limestone cliffs, creating valleys with a romantic atmosphere. In the clear light of the Quercy, the Lot retains its Southern character and its motto is: "We are under a spell. Each step brings with it a surprise."

Cultural heritage is very important in this region: the Lot department holds many centuries of historical monuments, caves, castles, Roman churches, and monasteries. In addition, it encompasses a section of the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella.

The immediate neighbour of Perigord, Quercy is ideal for lovers of regional produce: all things to do with duck, including of course "fois gras" (duck liver pate), lamb, wines of Quercy (Cahors), walnuts, truffles, and delicious melons…
